Why does community matter?
Firstly, community with others can get gain more things. Every one has the different thoughts. only you shared the thoughts and discuss to get new thoughts, you will gain the most.
Secondly, double check whether you are correct or not. We all will make mistakes. If we work in a team, it will in case you lost something or misconstrue the knowledge,and correct your thoughts timely."Peer learning provides the forum for testing ideas and practising the skills of sense-making"(Gloria Latham,Mindy Blaise, Shelly Dole,Julie Faulkner, Josephine Lang and Karen Malone,2006)
Thirdly, develop the work together skill. Not many work in the world can be finished by only one person. So work together skill is so important to everyone. Learning also need that. Human beings are not born to know. Team work is a way gain the knowledge more and faster.
Fourthly, help to make the knowledge clearly in the mind. As share the ideas in a team, you should make clearly mind in your head. So that you can share with others and make others to understand you. also sometime you have the thought but you can not be conveyed by word. Team members will help you at that time. So you all can build a clearly thoughts.
Also community can improve the friendship with team members ,build up personal responsibility and so on. In a word community is really important.



How to differ group work and lift ?
First, everyone as a team member will have responsibility in team work. "The most obvious learning outcome is that of working with others as peers develop teamwork skills and identify as a member of a team, this cooperation leads to a sense of responsibility for the success of the team to achieve a shared goal"(Gloria Latham,Mindy Blaise, Shelly Dole,Julie Faulkner,Josephine Lang and Karen Malone,2006)It is different from lift,lift is just copy others without own opinion. If you included in a team. The result is coparcenary by this team. it is not lift.
Secondly, before share the ideas in group work, every members should think about the topic and build up some personal ideas. Lift will not do like this,it is just copy others ideas with out any personal things.
Thirdly, during the group work discussion, every members should share their ideas, improve the ideas , get new ideas and correct the wrong ideas. Lift is just copy without thinking anything.
These three point are the difference between group work and lift.
